Anyone who works for American or American Eagle happen to know if this is true there as well?

When I worked on the ramp for AA, we were asked to not show the AA logo when consuming/purchasing alcoholic beverages. Most folks rolled up their shorts (Logo on the bottom) and put on a coat to buy beer at the 7-11. Honestly, as far as the bars are concerned, I cannot remember ever seeing anyone wear a uni during afterwork socializing. Truth-be-told, the navy blue polyester outfit doesn't pickup the chicks.;)

I've seen more PSA rampers in Pittsburgh at a certain watering hole in uniform than i have ever seen on the ramp up there. no wonder you can never find anyone when you need'em.

If you go to a place in DTW just north of the airport, all you see are NWA rampies, agents, and mechanics all in full dress uniform downing pithers and shots as fast as possible. At least in DTW, there is no concern for public scorn of drinking in uniform.
