Quantitative Score

How important is the quantitative score on the AFOQT?? I got a 54 on that section. Will that be a big hurt on my chances?

When I took the AFOQT, I looked at the ARCO book to see what parts of the test mattered for the pilot score. I studied those sections and didn't even so much as look at the others. The scores reflected my method but my pilot score was high and I got my slot and that was during a time when there were very few slots. I was surprised to get a slot at all but if they worried about any other score, I would be shrimpin' boat first mate today. Don't worry about the quantitative score. That score is for shoe clerks.
