I'm currently in Doha, Qatar and I ran into a Qatar Airways pilot. He said that they are short pilots; I didn't ask about salary, but I'm sure that it's a decent one.
Anyone looking for overseas work may want to consider it.

Just remember, there is a reason Qatar is an endless revolving door for pilot jobs.

They have pilots from all over the world there, but most are Middle Eastern. Representing a large jet engine manufacturer, I flew with them for about a week or two, one month after 9-11 and couldn't wait to get out of there. If you're a red blooded American, you probably won't blend well...
