I was about to begin the application this morning when I came upon a thread below. Here's the deal - I am 200 hours short of the PIC Turbine requirement but was just hired as a jet PIC, so I expect to meet the mins soon. I'd prefer to have had my application completed by the time I pass the mark, but the thread below has me believing that perhaps I shouldn't. The only reference I could find on the JB web page is something like "applicants must meet ... to be considered for an interview."

I would appreciate answers from those in the know. Thanks and fly safe.

It won't even be accepted into the system. It will kick it back with a message to try again when you are qualified. DO NOT FUDGE YOUR TIMES a little early. The one thing you don't want to get caught in around here is a fib of any sort.

With all of this said, please realize that 1000 PIC turbine won't make you competitive. More like 2000 PIC turbine, even for fighter guys! Best of luck.
