Getting ready to buy one.

Just wondering if anyone gets hassled about the 27" bag? I could really use the extra 4 inches.

One of these day's I won't have to commute, but for now I do on mainline and regional carriers.

Thanks for any input,

Jim

23" is plenty big in my opinion. Definitely worth the money.
Welcome to the DO jet!!!

When the rollaboards first came out they were origanally called
"weenie wagons". Real pilots carried their bags.

My how times have changed. Or we just got lazy.

Oh, boy. I could totally use another four inches.

Couldn't resist.

I have been hassled about the 27" bag. Usually it is by F/A's who saw me rolling up to the airplane with the monster and a computer bag. Having said that, I don't think I have been forced to check the biggie any more than my 23" bag, but you are definitely wearing out your welcome faster with the big one. I am blessed to not have to commute any more, so when I need to carry another coat or a wetsuit (west coast layovers - got to get a little surf in when I can) the home town F/A's shouldn't have much to say about the monster.

You might try the smaller bag with one of PNT's duffel bags. I haven't tried this combination myself, but evertybody I know who has said it gives you the best combination of flexibility and space.

Iv'e never seen anyone with the 27" bag, Everyone has the 23" bag. The 27" bag would make it harder to find overhead space when commuting. I can usually fit 4-5 days of neatly packed stuff in the 23" bag.
