Puerto Rico Hotels?

Any thoughts on budget hotels or decent hotels with excellent airline employee discounts? Looking for an area convenient to the main airport that has nice beaches and possible wave action for surfing. Thanks in advance.

If it is surfing that you are looking for, you will want to go to Rincon. About a 2 1/2 hour drive from San Juan.

Most of the hotels in Isla Verde have some sort of airline discount, ask around in condado as well. Surfing in San juan is descent in the winter, the beach by the marriot couryard was small but reliable from sept-feb. La Ocho in old san Juan has a great break.

Rincon Is Everything is it cracked up to be!! The endless breaks on over a dozen beaches, He!! walking around is like being in a surf Magazine!! Good Luck and Enjoy, PR is an amazing island
