Has anyone noticed the discrepancies here?
For example, 61.105 says NTSB accident reporting requirements...yet the Private PTS doesn't mention this as an objective to be taught by a CFI to a Private student.

If you are looking at a PTS, you need to remember that it means Practical Test Standards, not aeronautical knowledge areas, as mentioned in 61.105 (b).

Does that help?

Thanks
I guess I have to find out what is necessary and must be covered concerning NTSB accident reporting requirements.

Guess Ill start with my books =)

If you have a copy of the FAR/AIM, look under NTSB part 830.

A serious injury could be: severe tendon damage.

That was one I remember. Luckily, this isn't information you will need every day.

I always found what constitutes a fatal injury to be odd.

Thanks.
That helped me out a lot, got a lesson plan done =)
Now I need to dig into the Aviation Weather area. I got the Weather Services done, but I have a feeling the AVIATION WEATHER will take hours to do, hehe.
Just so much, I am use to the college weather classes =)
