Looks like you guys lost your battle. Heard today that if LOA 91 passes, you guys get to fly for MESA.

Welcome aboard morons.

Immediately bid out West if you get bought by Mesa---the flying is a lot nicer.....I try to get out there as much as possible. That would be a plus.....

Bye Bye--General Lee;)

Feel bad for the sell outs though. Looks like MESA wants the delivery slots and not the pilots. Gosh, more pilots on the street.

Is all of this true or just another rumor.

Its all good the PSA pilots should not be scared, i heard that all the Philly airport stores will have KY Jelly on sale next week for PSA pilots 75% off.... This way it wont hurt as bad when MESA bends them over.....

Funny how the pot is being stirred by folks who drive Dash 8's. Gee, I wonder who they fly them for?

Maybe they're just upset that PSA has always stood by 50/50 while PDT & ALG agreed many months ago to a backdoor LOA 83 and still couldn't produce a single 701.

There was no backdoor 701 deal, that is just the crap your mec tried to feed you to cloud the fact that this whole mess was started by you giving in to 81 (the first in the country I might add) that resulted in the last sprint to the bottom we enjoy so much now. We do have 3 guys on our mec who are as equally gullible and were pushing for it but it was never past the arguing stage at the meetings. At this point I dont give a rats what airplane you fly, many happy landing to you. But dont accuse the others of trying to get you it did not happen!!!

FR8: Funny how both the chairmans of both PDT and ALG (Olaf and the former Rick O, briefed the PSA MEC on thier backdoor plan which they pitched to Bronner a week later.

Seemed like it went alot further than just the argument stage since both chiarmans were pitching the idea.

Seems like someone pulled the sheets over your eyes FR8.

Respectibly

Dude

I know what you are talking about, it is not a backdoor deal!! PSA was begged to be a part of it, as it would have eliminated the exact 701 issue you guys are dealing with at this moment. The fact that PSA was briefed and asked repeatedly to go along with it is hardly trying a back door deal. A backdoor deal is claiming that you have no plans on signing 81 and in fact your not even talking to management all the while actually signing off on it without the knowledge of the other two WO. And lying about that fact. (this is what your chaiman did) Bottom line is you got yours, I'm happy for you (I.m serious) better you than any of the contract people. I am only speaking of blaming PDT and ALG for stuff.

Look FR8, We should just agree to disagree on this backdoor thing. Staffing the 700 50/50 intially untill you recieved your first 50 seater then 100% percent for the 70 seater after that sounds like a boackdoor to me. You were begging us to give in to 100% percent staffing on that POS before any of this happened. We said no, simply because we stood strong on 50/50. How si that diffrent from what they want now?

However, I hope mainline management dosen't have something in store for us that we are not aware of and we all lose.

What I meant by "backdoor" is that even though you really didn't mean to agree with LOA 83, you actually did.

The agreement ALG & PDT made is LOA 83 in disguise, or a backdoor LOA 83. I never mentioned that the MEC's did anything behind anyone's back.

Whatever you want to call it, PSA demanded 50/50 staffing and have stood by that to this day. The result: the 701 program had been shutdown. Listen to the PSA code-a-phone if you'd like.

If I were to take a guess. PDT (PDT/ALG) will be the ones sold to MESA.

I know you guys stood up to management and their boses the ML pilots, very good job, the sooner these pilots at ML realize it's not all about them the better. As far as selling ALG and PDT to Mesa, I dont think it will never happen. Not for any reason other than we are worthless to them. High paid pilots (for a Dash) and no jets or any hope for a jet. ALG and PDT have nothing to offer Ornstien. Unless the business plans change we here at peidagheny are dead men walking
