My girlfriend has an interview next week at PSA, just wondering if anyone has any info as to the sim ride profile etc. I understand it is in a 737-300, any info as to if they use flight directors, steam gauges etc. would be of help.

Thanks

When I went through last summer they didnt do sim ride. But tell her to check out aviationinterviews.com there are some gouges on there that explain the ride pretty well. Good luck to her, I hear there is a lot of hiring going on right now.

The gouge that I read said that they were using the 737 sim in Charlotte because the RJ sim was booked solid...anything to this?

Yes they are using the 737 sim, just want to see if you can scan and fly. Interviewed recently, takeoff- eval instructor sets power, pitch to 15 degrees, 2 30 degree turns and intercept a radial to vor, gives you a hold. if you idenitfy it correctly no hold. Vectors for ILS to full stop. Aviation interviews has the other details. Just lead your turns and watch your speed. Be yourself, great group of people! Good luck.

Thanks for the info. Do you know what app they use, spd for turns etc., do you use the flight directors and last but not least do you control the power after takeoff.

Thanks.

They use PIT 28L or R, or Indy 5Lor R, I did PIT. Speed for turns 200 kts, no flight director and you control power after T/O but use CRM and have eval guy set pwr. Go to www.aviationinterviews.com for more info and good luck sounds like a great place and I'm excited to get started!!
