That's great! I haven't heard that yet but I hope it's true. Do you have any more info? How many will take the recall? I know of two that have moved on.

hey guys thats great news, just wondering whats the current upgrade time like now for a newhire?

A long time.

There will be PSA pilots withover 3.5 years that will likely miss upgrade if any APL pilot decides to come here. Now, if we continue to get more aircraft past the 9 and the J4J list finally shuts down, it should come reasonably quick for newhires. But until more deliveries are announced, all upgrades after these will be from attrition.

I also have to add my big ole WELCOME BACK to all the furloughed PSA pilots! It will be good to see you all out on the line!!

I hate to add more rain to the parade, but something else to consider is that if the AFA strikes, its all over. . . .

Just spoke with a buddy of mine that is on the APL list. He got the call for the Dec. 20 class and said yes. They told him it was tentative because they hadn't heard back from everyone yet. As of yesterday, only 10 guys had jumped on board.
