PSA/Piedmont..how bad is it?

They, along with CLT and everything in FL closed. ORF flying went to Whiskey, we had no originators in CLT, and we there is no longer any flying in FL.

i thought pdt still had a base in clt. do they just fly in there a lot, but are not based there?

Uhh, yeah. I bailed from CLT when it became apparent that it's days were numered in '04. It was by and large the only commutable base. I was able to commute from DFW without a crashpad- even on out and backs. But as the (I hate to use this term, just being a regional puke and all) equipment shrank between those hubs and the "originators" in CLT were mostly DHs to the north... I had to move.

Thats the way I heard it too... Funny stuff! If you know H.G. and P.J. (the FA) then it is just so easy to imagine. Slapping a broad with a baked breakfast item! I'm not sure you could even find that on the internet! Might have to google that one...
