i got denied the Delta Jumpseat today bc , they didnt know how to enter or Cass info, anyone know the correct way to do this

PSA and PDT pilots are listed in the database as US pilots.

When you check in for a CASS jumpseat, tell them you're USAir, and give them youy 6 digit employee number. You'll add a 0 to the beginning if its a 5 digit number. Add your airline code at the end of it, and that should get you through the CASS process. (i.e. 012345JS)

If that doesn't do it, it could be an internal problem with the server Delta is using. In that case, you need to get your jumpseat committee to contact DL and get it sorted out. We had that problem with AA. They were quick about fixing it.

Delta seems to work most of the time if the gate agents know what they are doing. As already said, make sure your employee number is 0XXXXXJS and that they use US as the airline code. I just rode on two Delta jumpseats today with out a problem.

And speaking of Delta, apperently ASA is in CASS now?

Yes apparently us at ASA now are CASS approved. however, we had a memo distributed saying that it may not work for all airlines because they needed to update the agreement lists or something ridiculous like that. so long story short, don't count on ASA to get you to work if you're jumpseating.

I had no problem with it. The gate agent was the only one who knew about it though. Both the FO and the CA had no clue they were in CASS. Neither did ATL operations. But hey, in the end it got me home!
