Like most- it's as hard for me to fly w/ the kernals who can't let the military go- but I am grateful everyday for our country and the military that fights for and serves us.

Thank you to all who served and serve-

Please keep our soldiers in your mind and hearts today and all days-

Remember the fallen- many are maimed and psychologically haven't been the same...yet.
And they joined knowing these risks.
Maybe we can rest the airline complaints for one day and keep it in perspective when the military brothers I know don't complain about a missing arm.

All the love in the world soldiers-

Minor point of order, Wave: You don't have to have been in the military to be a Kernal, but you must have been in the military (or the CAF :)) to be a Colonel. For those outside SWA unfamiliar with the term, a Kernal is a condition of pathological social retardation with a loose correlation to seniority. Kernals can be found at all airlines, but are a frequent topic of discussion at SWA because they represent such a marked contrast from the prevailing spirit of employee cooperation and mutual respect.

Otherwise I completely agree with your thoughtful post. Everyone go out and thank a Vet today!

I'll start a "kernal" thread tomorrow- ;-)
today, I'm just thanking vets- and letting them know their country loves them

Also, a reminder to donate to your military charity of choice- words are important- support w/ cash is real.

All gave some, Some gave all.

Also remember our allies who served. November 11 is observed by our allies too. Remembrance Day in Canada and the UK.
