My OCD kicks in again and the cable management in my Carbon Cub FX-3 can drive me crazy at times. I've tried various locations to hold my Bose A20 brain controller from velcroing a 3D printed mount on the wing root, a suction cup option on the window, or just leaving it dangling. I have the straight cord on my Bose A20 with LIMO plug. What I've been doing mostly is letting it just dangle down from the plug but recently I had this situation when taxiing I hear this "tick tick tick tick" wondering what's going on, is there something in my wheel or tire? Then I did my preflight one day and I typically take the wing tip and push it up and down and I hear the noise again. Is it fuel sloshing against something causing this? Then the ahaaaaah! It's the brain bouncing off the window or side panel. Enough of that, back to a velcro mount on the wing root just above the trim priority switch. The only problem now is the cable from the headset going over my shoulder and up. I have used the little clip in the past to clip the cable to my survival vest, jacket, shirt, whatever but that's not really helping right now as the cable I have to work with is shorter now with the brain controller at the wing root.

How are others handling the Bose brain controller? This applies to any headset with the controller, it's not Bose specific.
