HA... after all that government money has been spent on putting FEDERAL workers on airport baggage screening detail, now they want to put the private security firms back to work. SAME RULES...JUST CHEAPER LABOR TO DO THE JOB. Should be some interesting news coming out of this one up the road.

Looks like the sleeping giant is ready to go back to bed again...

Jeez...here we go again!
MY question is so if they do go to private firms, will the tsa nazi's still be employed, taking my tax money? Doing nothing? As usual?

MCI has ITS contractors working there currently. I didn't see a single TSA agent anywhere near WN's gates, unless they were all 'undercover' in their ITS uniforms. :)

-Boo!

Finally

At least the commuter FO's will be making more money than the screeners again.

Well in many cases the TSA folks are the same ones that worked under the private firms. They just got deputized by the government.

Honestly how does having them federal workers make them safer? IMO it doesn't because of the federal union it's very hard to fire them.

George W made sure they couldn't unionize before he signed the Homeland Security Bill. Unions are anethema to Republicans.

George Bush rides in Airforce One...you fly a BE-76. I'm sure the President could give a squat about your attitude.

In fact what do you know about UNIONS...good, bad or indifferent? You should be able to grow a beard strong enough that if you got milk on it, a rough tounged kitty kat couldn't lick the whiskers off with the milk, before you start saying bad names about the PRESIDENT or making talk about the UNIONS.

I'll bet you didn't even vote. If you didn't vote, you don't got a right to B1TCH.
