I also posted this under the TRAINING section but i thought it might get a few more looks here...thanks...

I'm taking an FMS class and we're studing the Primus 1000 system. i was wondering where i can find a computer program that can simulate the FMS to practice on...the instructor told me they are hard to find and he had to contact Honeywell directly to obtain his copy...just didn't think it'd hurt to ask, thanks...

I have a Primus 1000 CD....not a simulation. It's a tutorial

What you are looking for is out there, it's called PC-FMS and is a sim for the SPZ-series FMS software version 5 that is used with the P-1000 in the ERJ, C-X, etc. However, good luck getting ahold of a copy. FSI used to give them out to us when we went in for training, but they haven't for the last year or two. I'm sure there are some floating around..

Hey Taco, thanks alot...i'll keep running a search or see if i can get one off a buddy that went to FS a few years ago...

Best bet would be to try the manufacturer of your FMS. We have an old copy for the GNS-Xls and also one for the Universal UNS-1C
