Things seem a little fishy to me. I've sent a few emails to a contact given to me by an insider and can't get a response. The information I've gotten from three different sources is all different. Noone seems to know what kind of airplanes they will be operating tomorrow. They know their pay is, um, a little thin and only say that they will try to fix it. I seem to think that captains are only around 60K and F.O. start around 45. That's not a lot of bread for an overwater operator.

Bottom line to me is that I get a little gun shy when things don't add up. They still claim on their website that they will be the first 787 operator in the US, but the truth is that they canceled that order over a year ago. That's a good example, and consistent with the inconsistency that I've found.
