Saw this in today's paper and thought I'd pass it along in case anyone here might be interested in it.

Gray Butte Flight Operations Facility (Palmdale, CA)
UAV Pilots Job Opening

There are also A&P positions open, according to the newspaper ad in today's Daily News here in Los Angeles.

I'm just curious what the pilot position pays. If anyone digs deep enough to find out, would you mind sharing?

A friend of mine has been working up at Palmdale flying the UAVs for about 10 years. He got the job almost right out of college and as i recall it pays decent. He has no military background. I want to say he was making around $60K back in 02-03 but the pay increases were quick. Not sure what he makes now.
