You're right, almost. More then 4100 somalies (sp) died after we left the region in chaos. It is true it had nothing to do with 9-11. Of course President Clinton running away with his tail between his legs after the battle had nothing to do with Osama Bin Laden thinking he could defeat us. That is if you are willing to overlook Bin Ladens own words saying that it inspired him to attack us.

Clinton never got the opportunity to say "mission accomplished". I fully supported our efforts in Bosnia and thought it was the correct thing to do. Hopefully it won't backfire on us.

Boat School '92. George H.W. Bush. Very classy speech and he handed out all 1000 or so diplomas. I think he even gave a buck to the anchor man.

They got as far as Venice until Pope Urban the II said enough is enough. Push those MFer's back to where they came from. (I'm paraphrasing of course.) Correct, uniformed people keep bringing up crusades, without knowing anything about, and keep promoting this view that Islamic world was just leaving peacefully, and out of the blue and for no reason at all, evil Christians just went there to slaughter everyone.

There had been multiple attempts to conquer Europe, and they had actually made it well into France, and later on, to Vienna.
