Portland Oregon Jobs?

I am trying to get out of the 121 business and looking at the Portland Oregon area. I was hoping anyone might have any insight into a corportate gig out there. I was even thinking about Ameriflights 421 out of PDX.

Been 121 flying for 7 years now and it is time to move on. Pay is not the only thing I am worried about. What is more important to me is an enjoyable workplace for me to hang my hat.

Aero Air is out of HIO with Air Ambulance / Charter stuff. There is also Flightcraft at PDX. There are other operators at HIO but I can't remember their names. NIKE has their 2 G-Vs based there. Intel Runs a corporate shuttle with ERJs but I'm pretty sure they don't operate it directly. That's about all I can think of now. Good luck to you three.

I also heard there was supposed to be a Citation Sovereign based there, but unfortunately it got sold...

Portland's problem is that there are not many corporate headquarters there, and thus not many corporate flight departments. A side effect is not many individuals who made lots of money off IPOs and thus have airplanes.

If you want to fly corporate and live in the Pacific NW, try Seattle. There is *much* more going on up there. There are quite a few experienced guys in Portland looking for corporate jobs at the moment.
