Anyone heard about polarized lenses interfering with seeing a crt(efis) or lcd or seeing through aircraft windshields?

Thanks in advance.

Yep, Some CRT's and windshields give you distortions and in certian cases a kind of black line effect.

(Tried it one day just to see!!!:D )

Had the same problem with my lenses. I have those matched clip-ons for my glasses. I had my optician replace the lenses with plain coated gray lenses. No polarization, no more problems. It wasn't expensive at all.

I have polarized glasses and can't see my GPS if I'm not at the right angle. The rest of the stuff is not polarized and not a problem.
