What information is available regarding schedules? The last guy I talked to, a few months ago, told me he worked there for a year. The bottom line amounted to the fact that he was gone anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months straight, taking his days off on the road, in different countries. This is great if you're single, but not for a guy with family.

Can anyone confirm or deny this info? I would like to hear from someone currently working the line. Thanks.

I myself do not work there but for a similar carrier. It is pretty common to work two weeks on and then have two weeks off. Depending on the schedule you can have the last two weeks of one month and first two weeks of next month and be gone for one month at a time. Where I work this is pretty rare and I average 20 days a month at home. I have been gone for 30 days in a row and I have also been at home for 60 days in a row. It really depends on union and contract- I actually like being gone about 25 days a month but doesnt happen often with our company as it cost the company too much- Ive worked 26 days in a row in one month and my pay almost tripled. Its definitely is not for everyone.

I buddy of mine is in sim training at Polar and said that there are 2 schedules: 9 on 21 off or 16 on 14 off. By the way he had about 3500tt, 2000 turbine, 0 turbine pic when hired.
