polar off 4r jfk

..., earlier today FDX was off 4L. From what I have heard, fortunately, no injuries.

Any links or references to a FDX event? I can't find a thing.

Nope, don't have any links. Was inbound to JFK and was put in holding pattern due to a/c having "problems" on 4L. Overheard it was a FDX, but as with all such things, who knows. My intent would is not to tarnish FDX or their great pilots, simply posting the rumour of what I heard.

When I landed I saw no a/c at or near 4L, but Polar was off the side 4R.
