Does anyone know which hotels the Polar Crews use when they are in HKG? I will be trying to jumpseat out of there this weekend and would like to try to catch them there.

You can try the duty rep at 9367-6946. He should be able to tell you where to meet up with the crew, probably near the information booth in the departures area.

BUT I am an Atlas guy. Hopefully a Polar pilot can either confirm this or give you better info.

And have a nice flight.

It is my understanding that Polar does not overnight in HKG anymore.

I agree, Polar doesn't layover in HKG anymore, I wish.

Looking at their schd they have six flights a day from LAX....where do they go after HKG?

Wankel

Polar does lay over in HKG. Usually not much and not for long. Basically your chances of catching Polar crews HKG is probably fairly slim but possible. Polar usually does day trips to HKG out of Incheon with occasional crews laying over. Hope it helps. Fly safe guys.

I am not sure but I think I remember seeing them at the Grand Stanford in Kowloon. That was a while ago, these things usually change quite frequently.

Use to meet the sta rep on the departure level between doors 2 and 3 at the information desk and they would give you the O/B gen dec and escort you to the A/C.. Your best bet is to contact the sta rep yourself and see what you can work out... Oh yeah better have a backup plan or some spare time to kill.
