I checked the ALPA jumpseat pages for the info on Atlas and Polar jumpseats, but all the webpages and phone numbers listed were wrong. I even got another wrong number from Atlas dispatch. Can anyone tell me what numbers to call to get the schedules and to get listed on the jumpseats for Polar and Atlas. Any help is greatly appreciated- 2 weeks of vacation coming up and I would like to spend some time in Asia.

Does anyone know if Atlas and Polar allow dispatchers from other carriers to jumpseat on them? Their travel desk doens't seem to know.

Thanks -

I was a dispatcher at Polar, and as long as you are 121, you should be okay. You just have to call and have them fax you a jumpseat authorization form, fill it out, and fax it back. Of course, this was before the Atlas takeover, so u never know now......

Polar and Atlas are still two different companies owned by the same holding company......they have different jumpseat agreements.......yes, Atlas does allow 121 dispatchers to jumpseat

Thanks everyone -

I thought all the cargo jumpseats had been taken away after 9/11, did something change and I didn't hear about it? What about Fed ex and UPS?
