I am looking into getting the HP iPAQ 4355 Pocket PC. Does anyone out there have this one? I want WiFi and windows to do excel stuff. How do you use your PPC on the road, e-mail, aviation related stuff. Do FBO's have WiFi?
Other than aviation is the PPC worth the extra $ or the basic Palm enough, thats' what I have now!

I had various palms for about 7 years, then got an Ipaq 2215 with a wifi card. I love it. It does everything the palm does and more. I also use anywhere map when I fly my 172 :)

They are worth the money. Make sure you get an expansion card as they come in handy.

thanks, also. does the software load the info at a fast pace. i've found that many programs for the pocket pc's are very slow.
also can you use the software with a laptop?

The first time you fire it up with a new database, it takes it about 30 seconds to read and update the database, after that, it loads up in afew seconds.

No laptop version. There is a flight planner component you can order seperately that runs on a PC.
