This questionnaire is to help me answer questions related to the safety of operating Technically Advanced Aircraft over traditional General Aviation aircraft.

Please answer each question by STATING IF YOU STRONGLY DISAGREE, DISAGREE, NEUTRAL, AGREE, AND STRONGLY AGREE.

1. Extensive ground training should be mandatory prior to ever flying a TAA?

2. TAA should be made into a logbook endorsement? (e.g. tail wheel, high performance or high altitude)

3. Pilots who fly both TAA and traditional “steam gauge” aircraft should be required to maintain currency in both separately?

4. The advanced avionics in TAA add to a pilot’s situational awareness?

5. TAA are safer than traditional General Aviation aircraft?

6. Pilots who get their primary training in TAA rely on the flight instruments too much during VFR flight?

7. Pilots who train in TAA are not going to be able to transition to traditional GA aircraft very easily?

8. I fly a TAA I don’t need to do any fuel planning it is right in front of me on my MFD!
