Why not just wait another 24 months and buy the aircraft he really wants?

I was talking to an aircraft broker yeaterday. He said that they are getting a lot of nice aircraft on the market now. I guess it has to do with the economy going south? Anyway, he said that aircraft like the G-450 and DA-2000EX Easy that were hard to get are now available, including a lot of positions for new aircraft that are for sale.

Is that $8.00/gal??? Whaaaaa? Where is that???

Shy

If the boss doesn't want to bite off 17+ mil for a GIV right now another plane to look at would be a Hawker 800a. Should be able to get a nice one for a little under 5 million. I havent flown one but they are roomy inside, should have all the range you need and not kill you on gas.
Nothing will scare off a new owner faster than a plane that burns a ton of gas and has a bunch of mx problems.
