Plantronics MS50

I got a MS50 headset for $10 brand new with an earpiece off E-bay a while ago. Figured it was a steal, so I grabbed it up. I've been looking to see if I can do something similar to it that people do with the Telex 5x5 Pro III headsets for the ERJ. I know there is a noise suppressing mic that can be added to the headset. Can the earmolds made at the Stop Over Store fit the MS50 as well? Any recommendations of how to make this thing usable? Or should I just stash it?

The Stop-Over Store can make your earmolds. It's the same setup as the Telex. They also sell the scoop that goes on the mike as well. They did a good job with my earmolds. I'm quite pleased.

Also, you can stuff some cotton in the mic. It does a good job blocking out the wind noise.

Hadn't thought about that - it does pick up a LOT of ambient noise.
