When did this happen. I have flown into Bader field many time and its no fun.

May 15th of last year.

How can you not love Bader? Fly in and walk to casinos!

It think this came out after the accident:
ARPT CLSD INDEFLY TO CAT B-C-D-E ACFT; EXCEPT STOL & ROTORCRAFT; UNDER FAR PART 97.3.

slightly off the subject:
NOISE SENSITIVE AREA - MAKE LEFT TURNS ASAP RWY 11 DEPARTURES

This is fun if you turn immediatly it puts you right in between a windfarm and the Borgata. I'm sure the people staying there love that.

It's sad that Bader might go the way of Meigs field out in Chicago.

Actually it's "OY-WET"

OY is Danish, not Dutch.

Someone who is from Denmark is Danish.
Someone from The Netherlands is Dutch.
A donut without a hole is also a Danish

Yemen is 7O
OT doesn't exist...

Carry on.

Yea, there was a little typo with the OT. The "Y" was a little too close to the "T"

I talked to my dad and he said that the guy didnt actually try to start the engine back up and power out of the bay. What actually happened was the "JBOX" shorted out and the engine just started on its own because the thrust levers were not in the shutoff position. That kinda ruined it for me because the funniest part was thinking that the guy actually tried to start it back up and power out.

Just talked to my dad who works at Cessna in the Engineering Dept. He actually knows this guy who did this. The guy is from Denmark and owns the aircraft. After he crashed this CJ3 he turned around and bought a Citation Sovereign. NO KIDDING and the new registration number....... OT-WET

so the guy can still fly?? geez, that's sad. i read the NTSB report, and right on the airport diagram chart, that was attached to the yoke, is the "airport closed to jet traffic" comment, but yet he did this, and can still fly. crazy.

I guess thats one benefit to pilots not from the USA. Crash a plane due to gross negligence and be able to buy a bigger jet fly.

I heard he had a couple of hot chicks in the back. I'll bet he had to go bigger to compensate for that little fishing expedition. I've worked for a Dutch dude who was a real azzhole and show-off and I could see him doing the same thing.

Stupid people with money. Land on a runway thats to short, land long, with a tail wind, skid off the end, and then claim the brakes failed. I'd like to kick that moron in the head.
