We had a Black Lab go at it once with a porcupine, but nothing that bad, holy crap..wonder if that Pit Bull had to be put down?

When the wife and I got our Jack Russell Terrier, we went to the breeders house to look at the puppies. We had found the puppy we wanted, when up rolls the Dad dog, WITH A DEAD PORCUPINE IN HIS MOUTH! No damage to the 20lb dog, and the lady said "Oh yeah he does that all the time, but usually its a fox or a raccoon." The wife was freaked out, I said WE WILL TAKE IT! The breeder then tells us that she came home one day and the dog was TRYING TO DRAG A DEAD DEER INTO THE YARD, and that he had taken that thing down, and, although he had a few cuts on him, was unscathed.....We came home with a new JRT that day...

Thats a story for real man. You must feel pretty good about your ********************ty little dog eating other animals.

My Jack Russell is just as crazy but hasnt killed anything due to being an indoor dog. One day he got loose and I watched him get hit by a car a in a 35 mph zone, go flying in the air, land on his side, get up and run around like nothig ever happened.

I thoght this was a thread about dogs. Please post about irritating rodents (Jack Russells) elsewhere. Thanks!

Did your dog get taken down by one or something? JRT's are great for people that want a big dog, but do not have the room, plus its funny when your buddies come over with their "big tough dogs" and your Jack pins it to the floor and makes it look like a sissy!

You've got that right! I have 2 Jack Russell Terrorists... Smallest dogs on the block, but they sure as hell act like they don't know it. Seemingly indestructable, JRTs are.

As anyone who has them will tell you, Jacks are the best: great personality, total devotion, fearless nature, smarter than most pilots. I've got three--my little velociraptors! And the best part: Ya get a big dog (in a little body) that will live a little dog's lifespan.

:)

What can I say? I spilled some coffee at the last second and swerved...only knicking him with my bumper.
