well, i logged on one day, and noticed my avatar had been changed to the Apu icon, tried to change it back and the new size limit was in effect and all my avs where setup for the more reasonable original size, I then received a msg from one of the mods saying that they had gotten complaints about my avatar and my .sig and that i would have to change them (even though they had already taken my avatar away) and that as they is, the rest of the story, you can thank the overly 'sensitive' babies on this board for the disappearance

Jeeezzz.... I thought that was "mellow" in comparison to some of the other avatars that some still use present day. It is unfortunate in more ways than one that one moderator can decide to just remove it out of the blue due to a few complaints. I would keep that in mind next time they are fundraising and looking to collect money. You should have the last laugh in my opinion...

That was no more or no less offensive than your current avatar.

People need to take things with a grain of salt. Any idea(s) who those complaints were coming from?. One poster comes to mind, guess we must be overly considerate and think of all parties when putting up a new avatar.

I saved the picture so lemme know if you want it back.

theres just no pleasing some people, not sure who it coulda been,
maybe some 'overly sensitive' whiner,
or maybe someone just being a prick and trying to screw some people over for no reason by making complaints.
your right though there are/were more patently 'offensive' avatars than the one i had, oh well,
this is why i hate people,
bunch of savages.....

and i have that avatar still, along with the full size pic, and many many others that i was trying to work into the rotation (its amazing how hard it is to crop/resize a pic down to even the old 150x150 size standard and still have it detailed enough to understand almost impossible now to show anything with any fine detail )
