Need some info. How long is training taking from show to checkride, ie-when do you start getting paid? Does everyone start in DTW and work their way to the other bases or are people being awarded MEM and MSP right away? Is there a pool, and if so, how deep is it? Do you have a trip and/or duty rig? Thanks in advance.

Plan on 2 months from start to finish. You get paid as soon as you pass your checkride.

Right now you can get either MSP or DTW. If you can't, you would be able to in a month or two due to the growth. I'm not sure about MEM though, it seems at the moment it's stagnant there, but that is always subject to change.

Not sure about a pool.

The only "rigs" we have are 75 hours a month and 3.75 for a continous duty over night.

rumor has two things going around...

Pool (from people I know in the pool or were in the pool).. hired to class date is about 6 weeks.

Rumor.. we are "supposedly" going to train 45 new hires a month starting immediately.. Looking at recent vacancy awards.. I believe that number to be somewhat true...

MEM, don't count on getting that until maybe (a big maybe) May '04... All of the new hires are being split between DTW and MSP through April.

Rig's.. maybe highspeeds if you could call that a rig.. Otherwise, maybe in our NEXT contract....
