Can anyone give me any details on getting on with Pinnacle recently and if they hire street captains, and whats the interview/hiring process like? I havent had a chance to check Aviation Interviews yet but WILL. Im current 121 with about 2800 hours in the CRJ. Do they still do the written test and sim ride? Any info. would be great, thanks!

First off, you do not want to come here. No contract coming for a long time.
Second, Do you have 3500 total? You need 3500 total to be considered for street captain. That is, if we even hire any more.

How can a quick upgrade at PCL be worse than a long upgrade and reserve at Mesa? Serious question. If the goal is to upgrade and move on, leaving the right seat at Mesa and upgrading quickly at PCL seems a better deal.....no?

"Path. Follow path. Gate. Open gate, through gate, close gate. Last ferry six P.M. so 'run run run'".

Name the movie.

The way it works at PCL is that you get hired as an FO. You can bid for CA while in New Hire. You go thru the program, get signed off as an FO and then go back thru training for upgrade.

On the same subject.. what about colgan? Are they going to start to feel the squeeze soon for qualified upgrade candidates?
