Pinnacle Air swings to 3rd-quarter profit as revenue falls

TEL AVIV (MarketWatch) -- Pinnacle Airlines Corp., (PNCL

The carrier reported earnings of $15.8 million, or 72 cents a share, compared with a loss of $21.4 million, or 98 cents, in the year-earlier period. Revenue fell to $208.5 million from $220.9 million. Adjusted earnings were 62 cents against 60 cents. A survey of four analysts by Thomson First Call produced a consensus estimate of 57 cents.
