Pinnacle.. first we are a regioinal, remember that first and foremost, We are NOT a major or a larger LCC. We are a regional and always have been and will always be one.
The corporate culture is clueless with a firm foundation in Memphis math and kool aid production. We don't have a fire first ask questions later,we have a bunch of moron's who don't know how to run an airlines less a business. Our Middle management runs the airline not the directors or VP's.
We also have a bunch of pilots who are children at best. The type that either have the worst work ethic I have ever seen or think they are privillaged and deserve everything. Many have never worked for an airline or even a real job before coming to this company. Many of our "problem" children are our junior guys/gals who you have to wonder how they ever got hired in the first place.
The reason for the heavy handed actions by the company are directly due to the actions of the children we have.
Our attrtition is about 40/60 CA/FO's right now. The current guys getting upgrade have been here about 2-3 years. I would expect it to stay the same. We are hiring primarily for attrition. We barely have over 1100 pilots.
Are we a good place to work for? I would say it depends on what you are looking for. The are many others hiring, pick what is best for you. Don't take the word of someone who is doing lateral movements to find the greener pastures. Many of the people you will find complaining about Pinnacle are those who are moving from regional to regional.
The RFP will not be decided until NWAMEC decides on the TA they currently have, then Comapass, finally the RFP for 9E and XJ. Not a minute sooner
