How is seniority in your new hire class determined at Pinnacle?

How long is training? Where do they put you up? Is there access to food/shopping?

Thanks

Training here at PCL lasts about 6-7 weeks, close to 2 months to get your sim check from first day of class. You go to class 8-5 everyday, have weekends off. No pass privilege until you pass the sim check at the end. You will spend lots of free time in the hangar and study with your partner.

Seniority is based on age, so the oldest guy gets the first pick of base and everything. There are tons of crashpad operated by Fedex guys, just go to the crashpad section, you should be able to find one. Don't stay at the place the HR recommends, that area around the airport (for that matter), its' like a target range. Stay in Horn lake, or Southaven south of the state line. No traffic whatsoever, lots of shopping. You'll sleep much safer at night. If you need more info, PM me.

hope it helped.

(Insert long sigh here).....there is a ton of Pinnacle info on this board - all you have to do is look.

But to answer your questions - training is about 8 weeks from Day 1 to finish of OE if there aren't any holiday breaks, etc. during training.

Seniority is determined by age - oldest is most senior.

No hotel provided in training - you're on your own so what's around is up to you and where you decide to stay. Isn't much around the training center and the sims are about 5 miles or so(??) from the training center - definatley take a car if possible.

Yeah, in addition to no hotel, no pay either during training...so be prepared to save up 2 months worth of $$$ when you go.
