I'm hearing a rumor from someone close to us (SKYW) that you guys have put out a bulletin limiting the CRJ to FL370. Can anyone shed some light on that?

Thanks,

AF

Yes there is a memo that limits ops to 370 but this is simply a precaution and it in no way suggest that altitude was a factor. As CFI teach students altitude is your friend so as soon as the investigation sheds more light this bulletin will dissapear. Flight ops is just trying to be as careful as they can.

Do you guys actually go to 370 (or higher) regularly?

In the 2.5 years I've been on the RJ I've been at 370 once (that was a mistake!), and never above.

Takes too d*mn long to get up there.

Sort of what I figured. Thanks and maybe I'll run into ya in MEM Friday night or Saturday.
