Long over due, but I guess they weren't getting any quality applicants. They are going to pay something like 200/wk., don't know about the hotel, but problably not. Will 200/wk help getting applicants? Who knows? Definitely could hurt.

It's on another thread, and I think it's on their website.
That's good, at least it is a step forward!

A step forward for who? I would NEVER work for Pinnacle.

Where did you get the EMB-190 type rating?

FS2004 I'm sure.

In case anyone was not sure - It is official - Pinnacle IS PAYING $200/wk DURING TRAINING.

The class that started today is first class to get the money.

That's nice now I guess there starving pilot types can upgrade to McDonalds. This industry is so farked up!

It may not be much, but it is a definitely a step in the right direction. Just imagine if Mesaba and/ or Comair stopped paying during training, everyone would be up in arms. Sure, 200$ a week is nothing great, but it is something good. Direction that is.

Don't even get me started! This is the same kind of rederick that got the womens movment started. Don't get me wrong I am all for equality in the work place. But lets tell the truth here. Women wanted to join the work force no matter what. Because society said the should not right? So what do corporations do. They lower everyones pay(compared to the risisng cost of living) so both members of a family now have to work to make ends meat. Now who is really suffering because of all that. You guessed it. Are children. Its the scumbag regional companies and there C.E.O.'S Who srewed up the whole pilot gig with the Pay For Training concept. And these glossy eyed newbe pilots eat this crap up like candy.

Jeez. I'll bite...

What?? From which century do you hail? So it is women (and their cute little desire to be treated equally) that are to blame for low salaries? Wait, wait, I got a better one..."as long as she stays pregnant and barefoot in the kitchen, there's no reason to beat her". You also probably think that "this country has been going to hell since Jesus Christ was kicked out of the classroom". I shudder to think what your opinion is of non-white people.

"rederick"??!! are you kidding me? rhetoric
"make ends meat"?? meet
"are children"?? our

I generally don't care about spelling errors because they often are typos, or at least close approximations. Your mistakes, though, provide insight: you really ARE ignorant. And I guess that is not really your fault. But, boy it is irritating.

Next time you try to write, ask the "little woman" for assistance--she might surprise you.

ps--I am not a hysterical woman whose feelings you hurt. I am male, but I try to treat people fairly. Don't always succeed, in this imperfect world, but I try.

Whew! Good morning

Yeah.... Enought BS about women working! That's like saying I should be a slave and not a pilot because I'm black.
Come on Lear, You can't really be that IGNORANT! I'm with Cardenel!

On a lighter note,
I stayed away from Pinnacle because of the no pay during training. I'm glad their taking a step in the right direction.

Yeah...right direction but still a crappy deal. By the way you guys look at the profiles as if they were resumes....how silly.

Nice reply, I don't really feel this way about women in the work place. My reply was completly flame bait! Thanks for taking a bite. Although I do think PFT sucks! and I can't spell.:)
