With all the hiring talk from Pinnacle I'm hoping someone can post the current pay rates for the first couple of years (captain & FO).
 
In May 2004, the rates are as follows:

F/O
1st-20.73
2nd-24.39
3rd-30.09
4th-33.28
5th-35.06
8th (top out)-36.23

CA
1st-55.07
2nd-56.76
3rd-58.51
4th-60.31
5th-62.14
10th-73.68
15th (top out)-82.37

Contract ends May 2005

And by all mean guys, study your ATP written!!! I've seen 4 guys sent home before they interviewed because they didn't pass the written with a 70% or better!!!
 
2.5-3 years..... But whe the deliveries stop in 2005 it's anybody's guess. PCL could easily end up with Eagle-esque upgrade times.....
 
FDXEX FO...no prob, just right click and save...I got it off of airliners.net a couple years ago.

As for Pinnacle:
Upgrade is sliding down fast to F/O's with less than 2.5 years as of now, however, with 40 aircraft deliveries this year, I've heard rumors of hiring street CA's again!!! We have a large number of guys from GIA and they won't have the time to upgrade for another 2-3 years. We do however, have around 50 furloughed NW guys that could jump in the left seat after being here only a year or less by the end of this year.

I think I heard TM and PD say they'd quit before they did the street captain thing again...... It's gonna get interesting, too bad I won't be around for it.
 
The upgrade time is currently dropping. Deliveries were increased this year from 32 to 40. How junior the upgrades go this year all depend on where the growth is and how many FO's that have the seniority will have the 3000TT required to upgrade.

As far as off the street captains goes. I doubt that it will happen again. I can think of three new hire captains off the top of my head that were fired in the first year.
 
I thought they could double your time to make you eligible for upgrade, is that true? I'm seeing a lot of CA upgrade in the sim, and quite a few new sim instructor. There's so much of good folks that hung in there that deserve to upgrade. Let's hope they make a good call on this one.
 
If you have 500 in type, you can reduce the mins by 500 hours. So instead of 3500TT, 3000TT with 500 in type will do. This reduction also applies to the ME and Turbine requirement.

Can you guys stop pulling sh.it out of your a.ss and making up bs. There are plenty of guys with the minimums for upgrade. There are not going to be any street Captains.
 
What are their off the street hiring minnimums?

Well right now, it is probably the quickest jet upgrade out there. The pay sucks, bid packs are in need of some help, but hopefully we can fix that in the up comming contract. Hopefully:eek:
