Dont feel stupid at all. Made my bones flying freight then went to expressicle in 2000 when ALL regionals were hiring. I would be an F/O at many other airlines and in the top 20% here. Not trying to be cocky, just glad to be in the right place at the right time for once and thankful for what I have. Peace be with you Bro.

Surely you can appreciate the simple fact that you should be making $15,000 more a year for what you do? Maybe you just don't care because you were at the right place at the right time.

Point well taken. Will agree with you there and don't mean to sound like a starry eyed pilot who is "just glad to be a part of it". Am I any better than PFT when I was NPDT ( NO pay during training ). Probably not when you consider the effect on the industry. I was unwilling at the time to pay Mesaba for an interview or pay Eagle's application fee. ( And still got an interview and offer from Eagle,LOL ) So I am still working thru that conflict.

Will I get that 30K more ( 15k is selling short IMHO ) Doubt it. 90% of the pilots voting on our contract in 2 yrs will be junior to me and they will decide the course much more than I.

My thoughts are STFD unless I get paid like a professional. So hats off to you!! Great question!!
