If you can get in touch with them in flight during a crisis. Management put an alert bulletin out a while back that said something to the effect of "You may not divert without first talking with dispatch" then rescinded it after someone got fuel critical during the first winter storm waiting for the dispatcher to respond before diverting.

They need to staff the SOC properly! Hopefully you guys will get some relief soon...

Congrats to the new-hires, don't drink too much Kompany Kool-Aid!

 I was also given a feb 28 class, now the BIG!!! question is this. I am only a green card holder,do you guys know if I have to log on to that awful site TSA has,or does Pinnacle do all of this for you? I would like to find out so I could get going, as I am looking forward to working at Pinnacle. If any one has Info on this please let me know. Tanx

Hey guy, pinnacle doesnt do anything....you have to go to the website and fill the info...good luck getting cleared on time

I was also hired for the feb7 class and I am going through the process. It is quite easy really. takes less than 5 days for people who already have a airman certificate.

Get registered on the website. Flightschoolcandidates.com and then log on and fill out the application. When you get to training provider you can select Pinnacle Airlines and your catigory should be catigory 2, sub part 4 since you have an airman certificate. If you have already done fingerprinting here in the USA for any 121 job in the recent past. They may not require your fingerprint. if they do then you go to one of their recommended locations and send that in or a local police station. things go very fast from there.
You can always call their helpline for information..TSA 703 542 1222
See you online!!

As far as the TSA goes, you can start ground school prior to getting the goahead from TSA. One is only required to get approval for FLIGHT & SIM TRAINING, NOT FOR GROUND SHCOOL (indoc & systems).

(REF: AOPA)

Correct me if I am wrong..

crashpad?

Soooo, where is everyone staying for the 28th class? Sounds like we have enough people to split the bill for a place where we won't get robbed. As long as we have a wireless router - everything will be fine.
