Pinnacle engine fire

I heard yesterday on the crew bus that a crj on the ramp had an engine fire and everyone evacuated via the airstairs in MSP ( according to a NW mechanic)
Fire bottle 1 and 2. Cockpit inspection to the box!

I think it was smoke from the APU exhaust coming into the cockpit.

Buddy said there was flames showing!!!! Didn't sound like the 3rd gen.

Dude! Holy SHUT! I can get flames to shoot out of an APU by turning the packs on below -20 C.

Glad this kinda carp doesn't happen where I work.
