Anyone know what's the deal with the delta Crj-900's. Where they might be, routes, anything along those lines?

Nothing official announced yet. Anything you hear about pay, base, routes, etc is purely a rumor at this point.

Unless Delta and NWA merge, NWA will take away a 200 for every 900 they operate for another airline.

Seven has bad sources!

Yep, he normally does, but you have to give him some props for keeping up the Pinnacle bashing for so long.

Here is the truth for ya from the SEC filing, notice the part after the word Notably (I'll translate for SEVEN, they won't get yanked and sent to Mesaba, they can only be retired):

To the extent that Pinnacle operates regional jets on behalf of another major airline, Northwest will have limited rights to remove some aircraft from Pinnacle's fleet. Northwest may remove one aircraft for every two aircraft that Pinnacle operates for another partner above an initial base of 20 regional jets. Northwest may remove no more than 20 aircraft subject to this option and no more than five aircraft in any 12-month period. Notably, Northwest may only exercise this option if the removed aircraft are not operated by or on behalf of Northwest after their removal.

Why do you post suff like this? The above is WRONG. Please reference the NW-9E ASA, or call someone at the Pinnacle MEC if you need clarification on what the deal really says.

super, super junior...

all new hire FO's will be trained in the -900... why is that? because that is where they will be going...

LAX has been in and out of the mix for better than a month, the next DAL meeting is this week. If an announcement is forthcoming it will be late thurs or friday.

SLC is just a new rumor in the war, Corp went back on LAX rumors and basically said WTF... we can't afford it.

Check airmen, they only have 2 that would consider LAX, SLC about the same, maybe 1 more. Senior enough Captains? nah... not enough to give up their sweet seniority and that is also a concern. unless they are going to show some serious $$$.

I know they were hoping for other locations, as they have/had a plan for staffing. LAX, they have nothing in place and that includes the infrastructure. the "original" plan had 9E with it's own real estate, everywhere else it is "shared" something and they are very concerned about.

From a $ point of view, LAX will not work, not on pinnacle wages and that includes management and that has been voiced by the managers.

sounds like they underbid to a point where they will loose money, DUMB. Thats why skyw is not flying these, we like to make money.

"WE" like to make money?? Are you on the BOD? Own part of the company? Cause if the pilots like to make money, I would think they would demand more pay for flying that DC9 replacement.
