Can anyone pull out any info for me on the section regarding sick-calls (and the section number as well)? I believe the contract simply says "...call in as soon as practicle..." or something along those lines. According to scheduling and their infinite wisdom regarding a sick call, I did not give them enough time recently and was docked a days pay (the usual "MT"). I actually just left the company for another ALPA carrier and believe I have 30 days to get this in. I don't figure I'll get the pay, but it is worth it to file this on the priciple of them being wrong as usual!! Any info appreciated! Thanks in advance...

Section 14:

D. NOTIFICATION OF ILLNESS
A pilot who is absent from work because of illness or injury is responsible to
immediately report such absences to Crew Scheduling. A pilot who does not
advise Crew Scheduling of the expected length of the absence will notify Crew
Scheduling of his status each succeeding duty day until return to duty.

Let me know if you need more.

That should get me going - thanks a bunch!!!
