For your rollerboard, dumb question, but does it have to be black? I want a spiffier color, but someone said all crew luggage has to be black.

Look in your FOM. Most airlines require plain, unadorned black luggage.

Norskman, you've got a lot bigger fish to fry than what color luggage to drag behind yourself.

Best of luck.

I recommend the pink bags for all new-hire fo's. That way you can identify each other quickly as you travel through the airport.

Or lime green.
;)

Maybe you can get a roller board with lights in the wheels...I heard those really spiffy your bag right up. don't forget to add a backpack as well

per f.o.m it must be black....... if you want to avoid looking like a newbie.... take your bag, kick it around your yard, then the sidewalk. Then go to the stop over store and buy a crew tag that says "not your bag", wipe the floor with it, then put it on your bag.

Dang, you beat me to it!

But, I suggest stuffed animals. Little stuffed-animal keychains can really give some life to an otherwise drab Purdy-Neat.

And speaking of purdy - think rainbows. Get a rainbow CREW! tag to add friendly smiles to your walk down the concourse. I mean, who doesn't just love rainbows?

But seriously isn't the most important question will you be lucky enough to fly the 9.

Let me guess, it's one of these...

Don't forget one of these to identify yourself as 'crew'...

lol about beating your bag around the yard, no need, I js'd on eagle a couple of years ago and a ramper tried to set the world record for ramp bag toss while I was watching needless to say, maybe he was testing the durability of a purdy neat it bounced about 15 feet for those of you wondering, but dented, scratched and worn, it held together pretty well except for the broken plastic clips.
