Just don't be a dummy and stay at a hotel unless you have buttload of money. Most people who stayed in a hotel were out of it by week 2 when they realized a crashpad would cost 200 bucks or so and the hotel cost a 1000 a month

I'll be there, anyone else? Where you planning on staying?
Just got a new refridgerator box and newspapers for the cold evenings. I will be at the SR77 underpass just down the road from the free clinic and soup-kitchen. Care to join me? Bring firewood !

Sorry. Could not resist.

Well, how's this... I've got a list of available crashpads, can you rate these areas for me? I don't know a thing about Memphis and I'd like to avoid areas that are regularly seen on the Memphis episodes of Cops...

Walnut Grove
Germantown
Mid-Town
Collierville
East Memphis
SR77 underpass near the clinic and soup kitchen

Thanks...

Ah... Seems like someone found my favorite hotel in MEM. Be sure to wear flak jacket, my friend. It seems like a cold winter down there.

Have fun!

I lived out on the corner apartments of Walnut Grove and Germantown... had my truck broken into... thats about 20 miles from the airport... and still couldn't escape the crime.
If you're looking for a decent place, see if you can find a crashpad out in South Haven (sp?) Mississippi.
Germantown is nice too, I do know that there are a few Fed Ex and or NWA crash pads out there.
