Hey everyone, I was just curious as to the age of all the majors pilot groups. I know a good share U.S. Air's pilot group is getting ready to retire and was wondering if anyone had any specific numbers on the age groups.

FedEx

We have lots of guys retiring over the coming years, about 150+ per year, but this could all change when the polititians change the retirement age to 65.

Yeah, kid, a lot of airline pilots are ready to retire...

BUT THEY DON'T HAVE ANY F^@KIN' MONEY IN THEIR RETIREMENT FUNDS!!!!

So, you'd better get used to that RJ right seat if they raise the age limit 'cause it's gonna be a long time before guys are able to get out of this 'wonderful life' they have. TC

We just hired a retired Eagle guy and have a few furloughed mainline guys flying with us...our safety director is ex-eagle as well as some of our other pilots.

Don't worry kid, we'll leave a light on for you.
