On the subject of chaging the age. I would estimate 20-30% of the pilots out there could handle flying ast 60 WITHOUT the help of thier FOs. By that I mean, everytime I fly with a guy who is close to retirement, I have to go that extra mile to help him out. It's not a big deal and not a problem. But if guys like that are slow at 58, 59, and 60, what will they be like at 63, 64, 65?

We're going to need some sharp FOs out there.

I think we need to lower the age to 58.
