Learn to use passive agression when dealing with the goon squad. My personal favorite is the silent but deadly gas attack, courtesy of the poor diet we professional travelers enjoy.

One must be able to hold a straight face when doing this, and it does result in looks of disgust from the "young shapely selectee" sitting next to you, but sometimes colatteral damage is necessary in this game.

This is best delivered when going through the seated foot up wanding phase, but effective anytime.

SOPs at one major airline requires the flight crew to enjoy the pat down while the 6.95/hr gate agents and ramp rats go through the side door.

I guess TSA wants to make sure the pilots won't hold a pair of tweezers on themselves and down a plane.

Go back, re-read and understand my rant. It never
said anything about Clinton. Did mention a liberal
media (that still exists) that pressed hard for removing
the contract services that did not fail in any way to
perform the job they were assigned to do on 9/11 and
turn those jobs over to federal employees that would
be much higher paid.

The regulations that strangle the TSA and keep
them from being truely efficient in hindering any
further attacks are the PC B.S. that is driven
by the anti-profiling nuts that are IMHO as big
a threat as bin laden himself.

Like & Live with it. Over 2000 people lost their lives because some idot dressed like a pilot was actually riding jumpseat in the cockpit and took the airplane down. Be assuring that hopefully we all are safe and if it takes you a few extra minutes to go through security, oh well. That seems like a small price to pay to be safe.

Thats a bunch of B.S. That's the kind of $$hit we don't need to be spread around.

I was recently selected for extra groping by the TSA. My boarding pass had the SSSS indicator on there. While I was being groped, the TSA agent told me that I could request that the airline remove the SSSS from my boarding pass since I was a crewmember. I was told that I must request that at the time that I get my boarding pass.

You are absolutely correct. If you get a gate agent thats worth their two cents, they can exempt you with proper airline flight crew ID. At one point, TSA could exempt flight crews at the security check point. No longer, though. Just as the ticket agent to change it if you notice the 'SSSS' on your boarding pass. Not a hard change at all.

it's just the biggest government welfare project every.. where else could trailer trash college drop outs get paid 35 grand a year with full government health and benefits just to get knocked up 2 months after they get the job. Just as many gun, knives and razor blades get into airports as 5 years ago…
